Office Manager
Nancy Valenzuela is the Office Manager at The Hilltop School for the Arts and has worked in education since 2017. As a dedicated mom of three, with children currently attending schools in the Agua Fria High School District, she is deeply connected to the community she serves. Whether greeting visitors, helping students with last-minute needs, or supporting teachers, she ensures the front office runs smoothly and efficiently every day. Her commitment to supporting students, staff, and families is reflected in her warm presence and strong work ethic.
Amy Lowe
Performing Arts Program Coordinator
Amy Lowe brings over 25 years of teaching experience, beginning her career in the Chicago suburbs before teaching in Arizona for the past 12 years. She holds a Performance Certificate from Berklee College of Music, a Master’s in Music from Northern Illinois University, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Aurora. A seasoned performer and award-winning music theorist, Amy was a keyboardist and vocalist in one of Chicago’s top 10 bands in the 1980s. At Desert Edge High School, she built a thriving choral program with performances at major venues including the Arizona State Capitol and Disneyland. Recognized as Best High School Teacher in the West Valley four years in a row, Amy is also a dedicated advocate for arts education, having served eight years on the Avondale Elementary School District Governing Board. She is excited to help shape The Hilltop School for the Arts into a model of excellence.
Ryan Williams
Visual Arts Program Coordinator
Ryan Williams is an artist and educator committed to designing authentic learning environments that ignite creativity, foster connection, and support collaborative communities. He holds advanced degrees in Art Education, Studio Art, and Educational Leadership. Ryan’s work spans public art installations, community-based projects, and transformative educational initiatives. His dedication to both art and learning has earned him numerous accolades, including “Arizona Art Educator of the Year” and multiple innovation awards. Through his creative practice and teaching, Ryan continues to make a meaningful impact on his students and community.
Colleen Koblinski
Academy Coach
With 25 years of experience in education, Colleen Koblinski is a versatile and student-centered educator who has served as a classroom teacher, Parent Involvement and Community Relations Specialist, and now as the Academy Coach at Hilltop School for the Arts. Her work is rooted in supporting student achievement, strengthening staff effectiveness, and building meaningful connections between the school, families, and the broader community.
In her role as Academy Coach, Colleen focuses on academy support and parent and community engagement, connecting students with real-world learning experiences through partnerships with artists, businesses, and community organizations. She believes the arts provide a powerful pathway for students to discover their voice, build confidence, and prepare for future college and career opportunities. Colleen is proud to support a school community where creativity, collaboration, and student potential are at the center of learning.
