Audition Information

Fully completed and submitted application along with a digital portfolio submission (see guidelines below).

DIGITAL PORTFOLIO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

REQUIRED 3 ASSIGNMENTS

  • ​Create a piece of art from your imagination. It should be mixed media, incorporating more than one medium. The subject matter should be social, political or personal.
  • From observation, create a still life which features 3-5 objects. The still life can be a painting or drawing and must be in color. 
  • Create a piece of art about a place. The place can be real or imagined.
  • Each piece should be clearly labeled with the title, medium, and a brief description describing your idea and the imagery you used. Attach this to each piece.
  • Acceptable file format: PDF, JPG, JPEG. Maximum file size 200 MB.

Title: "Ethereal Dreams"
Medium: Oil on Canvas
Description: A surrealistic depiction of a dreamscape that explores the boundary between reality and imagination.

  • Portfolios should be presented clearly and contain current artwork from the last two years.
  • Only original artwork is accepted, no plagiarism, no anime, cartoons or comics (no direct copies of other artists).
  • Portfolios will be uploaded on the application online platform.

Callbacks will be held in person in February 2026.  

During the callbacks, applicants will be asked to:​

  • Applicants will present a portfolio of their artwork containing a total of 12 pieces, including the same 3 required assignment pieces submitted. It should show a variety of mediums (charcoal, pastel, paint, photography, etc.)
  • Applicants will be interviewed while presenting their portfolio. 
  • Applicants will be asked to complete a 25-minute drawing assignment from observation. Supplies will be provided.
