Audition Information

Fully completed and submitted application along with video submissions
(see guidelines below).  


MONOLOGUE GUIDELINES

  • Each applicant will perform two (2) contrasting monologues that are no more than 2 minutes each. (one must be a comedic monologue AND one must be a dramatic monologue).
  • Monologues will come from published or unpublished work; such as a play, or from film or television scripts. If you choose to perform original, unpublished work as one of your monologue choices, you must bring a copy of the monologue to your callback or live audition​
  • Introduce yourself with your full name with the title, author, and character description of the selection you will be performing (max 30 seconds intro).
  • You must wear all black clothing (no logos on clothing).
  • No jewelry of any kind.
  • Hair must be tied back out of the face.
  • Your face and body should be clearly seen. No one else should be in the video.
  • No props or sounds should be in your video. ​
  • Camera must be in a fixed position. ​
  • Record each monologue in a single take from start to finish.
  • Do not edit monologues/videos together. ​​​
  • Each monologue will be recorded separately and uploaded on the application online platform.
  • Acceptable file format: MP4, AVI, and MOV. Each file has a maximum file size of 1 GB. We recommend you capture your video in 4k or less to avoid going over the size limit.

Callbacks will be held in person in February 2026.

During the callbacks, applicants will be asked to:

  • Applicants will perform the same two monologues submitted in video submissions.
  • Applicants may be asked to do a cold reading or improvisation. Some applicants may be given directions and asked to repeat all or part of their monologue, incorporating those directions. No home preparation is required for this part of the audition.
  • Applicants will have a brief interview following their audition.
